Peter & Sons receives the credit for Barbarossa DoubleMax, while Reflex Gaming made 2 Fast 2 Fruity. Calling these “Yggdrasil games” may describe their publishing route, but it should not erase the studio named in the official release.
Themes range from Vikings, pharaohs and prehistoric animals to chameleons, sweets, pirate ghosts and cartoon zombie bees. Across that sample, newer titles often put the mechanic name in the title, making the expected multiplier or wild behaviour part of the game’s identity before the first spin.

How Yggdrasil GEMs work
DoubleMax builds through consecutive winning cascades. The multiplier starts at 1× and doubles to 2×, 4×, 8× and onward after each win in the sequence; it normally resets when the chain ends, although a title can preserve it during free spins.

The table shows why a GEM cannot supply the provider’s RTP or volatility identity. Vikings Go Wild and Multifly both list 96.3%, yet their official profiles use low-medium and high volatility respectively.
RTP is the theoretical long-run return for an identified build, while volatility describes how unevenly prizes are distributed. Neither predicts one session, and a multiplier mechanic does not prove that a title is high volatility.
